We recently got a filing cabinet in our home. We have young children and want to secure the cabinet to the wall – just in case. We managed to find one item that apparently does this job – The Hangman but they don’t export to the UK. Does anyone know of an alternative that’s available in England?

Pull the cabinet away from the wall and find the studs( measure from the corner and they might be 16″ on center or use a smal nail to probe for one)
take out the top drawer and screw in the studs through the back of the cabinet. My cabinets only open 1 drawer at a time.
Hello I agree with Jack. I’m a cabinet installer. I would drill through the cabinet and into a wall stud 1 2½”-3” screw will be fine for a single row wide cabinet, just place the screw near the upper portion.
jack has it right.except put a washer under the screw head.good luck.
