you need to get to where the leak occured to dry up any remaining stagnant or fowl water
First of all, hopefully you’ve eliminated the source of the problem concerning the leak you had mentioned, or it will get worse. What you need to do is get an atomizer/spray bottle full of water & about 1/4 cup bleach. Then you need to spray this bleach up inside & around the area affected as best as you can…What this bleach will do is reduce the chances of mold spores from forming….Something you do not want to have around…Eventually, you’ll more-than-likely have some repair work to deal with on the inner portions of your cabinets and/or walls…Best of luck to ya!!!
If you can get to that area from below, I’d drill a couple of holes up there carefully to drain out any water that is sitting there. I like the spray idea, and you may need to wait a bit for it to subside. Other than that, you could tear out the bottom of the sink cabinent and take a looksee. Not a bad job.
