Stainless steel appliances with old counter and light finish cabinets?

I need to replace my broken microwave, but my wife wants to use that as an excuse to replace all our appliances to stainless steel. However, we have no plans to replace or basic Formica counter or light-stained cabinets (too much money).

So, would the stainless steel appliances look ridiculous with the basic counter and cabinets?

   I don’t see why it should. I have a stainless steel coffee pot and it sits on a formica counter.

   I will say however I don’t like the stainless steel because the thing never looks clean — even when it is!

   I think it is foolish to buy appliances just so they match. Unless you got lots of money, I would tell your wife to make due with what she has if I were you. Spend the money on a trip or someting.

   My partner wants to buy a new range when the only thing wrong with it is it has one broken knob. A new one would cost at least a thousand dollers!

   STAINLESS STEEL LOOKS GOOD WITH JUST ABOUT ANYTHING.
   IT WOULD BE A GOOD INVESTMENT AND IT LOOKS GOOD TOO.
   I HAVE STAINLESS STEEL IN MY HOME, AND IT IS AWSOME TO LOOK AT.
