How do I add a mini fridge to a cabinet space?

Friday, March 26th, 2010

I’m installing a wet bar in a former pantry space. There is just enough width for a cabinet with about two cabinet doors. The bar will have a countertop, wet bar sink, and mirrors and shelves for holding glasses.

Base cabinets/plumbing and new sink?

Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010

I am installing base cabinets but I really have no idea how to take the plumbing lines out or put them back in. I can use pictures and intructions (This is what I have been doinf wiht everythign else in my house) How hard is it to redo the plumbing below the sink once you have the cabinets installed? I also need to know what kind of sealer to get once I install the sink to seal the sink to the countertop. Thanks for your answers!

Replacing master bathroom cabinets?

Monday, February 1st, 2010

We need to rip out and replace our master bathroom cabinets (dual sink). They are water damaged and have no drawers. We don’t want anything fancy, just simple cabinets with drawers, under sink storage and a simple countertop. The space isn’t that large, 21 1/8 deep and 37 5/8 long. Approximately how much would this cost? Is Home Depot a good place to go to buy the cabinets and have them installed? I don’t want to get ripped off but this is our first attempt at remodeling so we are a bit clueless. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

what is the correct way to paint bathroom cabinets?

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

we are remodeling our bathroom. The countertop is shot but our cabinets are still in great shape. They are not solid wood…they are wood faced. They have been painted once already but I don’t like the color. I am concerned about painting it as I don’t want the paint to scratch or chip off. Any suggestions as to how to assure this will not happen.
